    • AMS improves their VR30DDTT platform 1/4 mile record to 10.4@135 in their Infiniti Q60 Red Alpha

AMS is at the forefront of the VR30DDTT engine platform and nobody else is even close. Considering their relationship with the factory this is not surprising. AMS previously ran a 10.689 @ 127.60 and has now improved on that pass.

      How about a 10.441 @ 129.90?

      EDIT

They hit 135 miles per hour. A big spread 5+ mile per hour spread from that 129.9. This is with an upgraded trans and driveshaft:

That's quick and they are just getting warmed up. The big things are yet to come.

Many of these products will soon be available for purchase at INFINITI retailers in North America and through AMS distributors.

That is what it seems but I don't understand that 5 mph jump.

Does this engine have turbo casted with the head? How do you upgrade the turbos then?

Hey Guys, Our Q60 is running Manley Pistons and Rods, that are an AMS exclusive, along with a new turbo kit. I do not know how much I can mention here without breaking forum rules.

You can mention pretty much anything as long as you aren't linking. Plus, we asked for the info.

        So the car has...
intercoolers, intakes, downpipes, catback, Ecu tune, overflow tank, heat exchanger,
        And...
is a built motor with upgraded turbos, presumably upgraded cores in stock housing only due to no mention of custom exhaust manifold.

Whats the ballpark cost of all of those mods+labor? I’m thinking it’s got to be $15-20k parts and labor, no?

It's getting up there but we're really going to see the cost be worthwhile when they get those big twins on there.
