    • Just another 1000+ whp MKIV Supra with a big single turbo on E85

1000+ wheel horsepower MKIV Supras barely get people to bat an eye these days. The thing is, this is a ton of power. Not only is it a ton of power the 2JZ-GTE practically makes it look easy when even modern I6's struggle to approach these levels.

What's special about this example? It is a built 3.0 liter unit revving to 9k rpm. The turbocharger is a custom 76mm BorgWarner unit by Work Turbochargers. It is pushing 38 psi of boost.

      The result? 1181 rwhp:

It is tuned on a Haltech Elite 2500 by Crispeed Tuned.

Impressed? They ended up hitting 1300 whp:

A lag king no action till 5500rpm with "only" a 76mm turbo,if it had a better flowing head it would be the real king.but the kind of power these engines can make oem is ridiculous.point is there are a lot of people who have put big money for decades into the 2JZ engines(a lot more parts to buy for also) ,it was even getting bigger because of the F@F movie.pound for pound boost a S50/S54 will make a lot more power because they have a very good flowing head + Vanos.
