    • Nissan celebrates 50 years of the Z with lame 370Z 'special edition'

No doubt an interesting discussion took place in the Nissan boardroom. With 50 years of the Z car coming up, how would they properly honor such a milestone? A lightweight 370Z with a high revving VQ37? Swap in the VR30DDTT twin turbo 3.0 liter V6? Build the 370Z Project Clubsport 23?

Nope. Instead what you get is a a choice of two liveries, lightweight 19 inch wheels, and some 50th anniversary badging.

Oh, don't forget the Alcantara clad steering wheel!

What a worthless and boring way to celebrate such a milestone Nissan.

I can't think of one Japanese sports car I have wanted to buy in the last decade besides the LFA. This looks like hot garbage.

So $#@!in ugly and I bet they try to charge like $40k for this outdated piece of garbage.

I cannot believe the base MSRP of a 370z roadster is $41k......There are so many better cars you can get for $40k
