    • Just another 2000+ awhp Nissan GT-R from T1 Race Development

The dyno is from the third 2000+ all wheel horsepower Nissan GT-R T1 Race Development built. It seems almost absurd to say that builds in excess of 2000 horsepower in the GT-R world are becoming commonplace from high end tuners.

How much does something like this cost to do, anyway? Everything needs to be upgraded. It is amazing the Dodson transmission is holding this kind of power and torque:

As for the turbos that is a pair of Precision 7675's doing the work. Also they are revving the engine out past 9k rpm. They are also utilizing a billet engine block.

      Incredible.

The car in the picture is not the car that put down that dyno. That car is their main shop car and is easily making above 2500 whp

I know that but it's a good picture for the article:

They go through transmissions real quick. I heard 20 boxes last year in a video about them.

Haha, full boost isn't reached until the point where most cars are looking for the next gear. That must be fun.

T1 and their GTR is on another level. The car crapped out on them at the end, but they clocked in at 230. Think the next closest was a UGR Lambo at 219. They previously set the GTR 1/2 mile speed at 235, so this new setup might have enough to beat ETS's record and go 255+

This is damn impressive for such a small motor.
That turbo lag though...The plot doesn't even start until 5k rpm where they are only making 400whp lol it would feel like a dog on the street if you were just driving.
Transient response is probably terrible too those turbos are huuuge.

Cool nonetleless but for 2000hp I would want a bigger motor

So like an S2000 except something actually happens when you pass 6500 rpm.

It's a huge sacrifice but no way around it.

Some 600 cubic inch monster with boost sure will spool better.

I mean, this is purpose built and the anti-lag resolves any lag issues. If you're ready to drop the coin, could probably do a high-compression billet block build with bigger turbos and increase the powerband to 5 through 9k RPMs

Everything I've read about these 2,000whp Lambo/GTR builds says they're pretty much useless on a daily basis. They're brought out to the strip, show, or for highway runs and taken home. That's about it.

What about the car crapped out at the end? UGR cheated to get the win and its very obvious.

The 219 run was done by Viren Sing, another T1 build.

UGR didn’t cheat WTF you talking about? Homie slept at the light and lost the race PERIOD!

IF He did indeed cheat they wouldn’t have given a greenlight watch the video above you can clearly see the GTR still trying to brake boost while the light is green and the UGR is gone

Tony posted his motec logs showing the speed and time along with video correberating all of the evidence that UGR slingshotted past him at the start line. Theres even video showing it... How come UGR wont post their speed logs?

Not to mention the race officials wanted to do a re-run and UGR refused. This was a big $#@!up by TSS officials.

It doesn’t matter what was posted as far as the logs this video clearly shows Tony still trying to brake boost way after the light went green, It’s obvious the GTR is the faster car but that doesn’t guarantee him a win if he sleeping at the tree. If the light goes green that means the race is on, Tony was out driven and it cost him the race

I see your point, but also understand he was probably distracted trying to figure out where the UGR car was. It was reported by numerous racers that this was common tactic by UGR throughout the series, so he was aware of it (hence the two red lights prior). In the end i still feel it was very a dishonest move by UGR, as evidenced by the video (not UGR's video).

        From Tony Palos personal facebook:

"I’d like to start off with what a great time I had at the Texas Invitational this past weekend. My car and my crew performed excellent and I had a great time hanging out with my racing family.
The weekend ended on a $#@!ty note, and there’s a lot of speculation and assumptions out there, so here’s the facts.
In the finals we got 3 shots, two red lights caused by Ross not getting up to speed on time.

Here are the rules from the TSS website.
“ You will be pulled into the middle according to your pairing. From there vehicles are signaled to line up and do a burn out. Keep your eye on the traffic light as it will be red. If you are ready to go give the starter a thumbs up. The light will change to yellow and at that point begin pacing to 65mph. Don’t wait for the person next to you to leave, just get up to 65mph and hold. We will have a green flag zone set up. If you are not side by side in the green flag zone you will receive a red light, at which point you need to stop and turn around. After one red light you will receive a lecture from the starter. If you are side by side within a reasonable tolerance (typically a fender) in the green flag zone you will receive a green light and you are free to accelerate at will to the finish line flags.”
There’s no ‘left lane sets the pace’. I did EXACTLY what the rules state you are to do.
After one red light you will receive a lecture, which ROSS received after BOTH red lights.
From inside the car, with a Hans device on, you can see very little to the side. We both rolled off the line at the same time and pace, you can see it in the videos. It took me 4.7 seconds to get up to 60mph, my wife’s SUV will almost do that, I’m sure a 2000+hp Lamborghini can as well. This nonsense about having to catch up to me because I took off so fast is just that, nonsense. I held 60mph for 3.5 seconds, count that out, it’s an eternity in this situation. This racing isn’t hard when you’re not trying to play games.
The ‘green light’ is triggered by a human. It was a mistake in this race, the entire TSS staff agreed on that. After reviewing the video and talking amongst themselves, the TSS staff decided the race needed to be re-run and we were given 30 minutes to cool down and re-ice the cars.
While in the pits getting ready I was told I was needed on the line. When I get down to the line there’s Ross and Richard, Kevin and KC, and other UGR staff. They are there to state they are not going to re-run. The deflect to other races that haven’t been fair starts, so and so did this to someone else, etc, all straw man arguments.
After almost 45 minutes of arguing the decision was given to the racers. TSS staff said if you guys can’t work it out we will re-run. I asked Ross if he felt that was a fair start, his response was “the light was green” and “I’ve lost races because people did that to me too, that’s racing”. I said is this how you want to take a win? He said yes. I responded with you can have it.
I came out here to race, and I race clean. I will not accept a win under a bull$#@! situation like that. That trophy is material, the number on it is irrelevant here. We know who the winner was and who walked away from this event with his head held high."

Hopefully some good will come out of this and people will realize what a load of $#@! these roll events are to use as a measuring stick and we can go back to an old fashioned run from a dig where there is some consistency.

Tony Palo: "3.5 seconds holding a steady speed about 60mph. It is NOT hard to line up with that.Drivers are instructed to get up to speed quickly and hold while paired.
0-60 was 4.7 seconds, I think a 2000+hp car can do that pretty easily."

I haven't looked into it yet. I made no accusation. I said 'if' so what's the issue?
